OUTDATED

Emerald Hill Zone Act 2

Xstan64 here, i chose to be the one who will write this time.
I don't feel that i need to document the first act of Emerald Hill, since MasterT099 already did it for me (read previous posts if you haven't!), so i'll just go straight to where he left off.
Do you remember that "background that was more reminiscent of a standard Emerald Hill one" that was mentioned previously? Unlike the previous writer i don't die on the easiest level in the game, so i could capture it in it's (not that glorious) glory.
Moving on, the checkpoint near the EHZ boss was replaced with rings this time, which i found weird but not too much. The boss on other hand...
Somebody slapped Coconuts' head on Mecha Sonic, which looks hilarious. The boss couldn't exactly be called a "boss", he did literally nothing but fly above the ground and after 1 hit he disappeared without any fanfare. The game immediately threw me into the next zone.

Winter World Zone

This one is waaay closer to how described previously unlike EHZ. I appeared under the surface in a room with springs and some rings, i had to bounce my way out which i found rather neat for a bootleg like this.
Ice Cap tiles with background from Ristar (with edited pallete though) made a nice and pleasant look. The music is absent and is replacecd with something that sounds like howling winds. The level was rather "flat" but with some parts where you have to jump down (but not too far), the enemies were just Chemical Plant Zone badniks, which made sense since WWZ took it's place.
After some walking i encountered a slope that went way down, i followed.
(i had to retake the screenshot because i forgot to do it the first time, which is why it has different scores) It led me to something that resembles a cave, it was a long and annoying fucking cave and mostly holding right for minutes with occasional ring and badnik thrown in, the exception is the "spike room"
This. Definitely didn't see these ones coming, thankfully there was a spring nearby that allowed me to get out. Already better than Mystical Cave! After this followed even more holding right, this time without badniks nor rings.
After walking, walking and walking i finally left the cave and went outside. To my surprise, the background changed, this time it featured Kremlin sprites ripped straight from NES Tetris. This was not mentioned previously in any way, so i count this as another thing exclusive to this copy of bootleg. The level seems to be unfinished, since going right leads nowhere but a death pit.

I will probably have to use level select to achieve other levels. Right now i am very tired and will continue later. -Xstan64
